Job Summary Responsible for researching requests and problems, recommending reporting and software strategies, and implementing agreed upon solutions. Solves internal and external problems and challenges by analyzing requirements, recommending system strategies, designing software solutions to agreed upon user mappings and requirements, then coding, testing and implementing the solution. Provides appropriate project management support to assigned work. Applies professional/managerial principles and judgment, within overall direction established by senior management. Solves complex technical or strategic problems; applies technology or business approaches in new ways; develops and recommends new alternatives. Frequent interaction to provide detailed procedural explanations or technical responses and/or occasional contact to negotiate basic agreements.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions · Determines system strategies. · Designs software and reporting solutions. · Writes code to achieve solution requirements. · Provides systems support through system documentation, user training and issue resolution. · Assists with system management and data analysis. · Supports existing system implementations. · Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate. · Prepares and implements engagement reviews, software testing and quality assurance procedures. · Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience · Associates’ Degree in Computer Science, Social Science, Business Planning or Administration, or related degree or experience · 2 years of prerequisite related work experience
· Must have proven successful interpersonal relationship skills to maintain effective and satisfactory working relationships with intra-department and inter-department staff, vendors, clients, visitors, and contractors.
· Ability to follow oral and written instructions with ability to read, interpret, and present information efficiently and effectively. · Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure.
· Must maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc.
Essential Physical & Mental Requirements Employee is subject to standing, stooping, walking, lifting, and carrying objects throughout daily job performance. Must be able to lift and carry twenty (20) pounds. Extensive travel to locations across Tulsa County. Regular and reliable attendance required.
