The Jr. UX Web Designer will support digital marketing initiatives by building HTML prototypes and mock ups while supporting the A/B testing tool. The Jr. UX Web Designer will create instinctive designs for a user-friendly experience.

A Day in the life of a UX Web Designer:

Proven history (with a portfolio) of designing highly effective user experiences on the web. Demonstrates UX design skills with expert knowledge of current design programs, prototyping software and usability platforms. Awareness of modern visual design and UX best practices. Theoretical and practical knowledge of how to create visual assets: wireframes, designs and HTML mockups. Strong working knowledge of Photoshop and other relevant design tools for high fidelity prototypes. Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to build experiences from scratch. Knowledge of popular frameworks (such as Bootstrap) is a plus. Working knowledge of client-side Javascript/JQUERY. Strong experience is a plus. Ability and experience identifying points of friction in the user experience and creating testable ideas to alleviate them. Experience with A/B testing and platforms like Optimizely, Visual Website Optimizer (VWO) or Convert is a plus.


Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree required. Additional study in UX, HF, Usability, and Psychology preferred


1-3 years of experience focusing on user‐centered design Adobe Creative Suite, HTML 5, CSS and JavaScript Great wire-framing and prototyping skills Experience conducting and analyzing usability and design research Passion for what you do, staying on top of current trends and developments Excellent command of user-experience methods, design principles, problem-framing skills, verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working in an Agile environment The ability to clearly articulate your ideas to team members and stakeholders Thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects and deadlines Proven ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions Strong workload management skills
