Under supervision of the University Hospitals Authority & Trust (UHAT) Facility Solutions Manager, provides day-to-day support to all UHAT IT systems, networks, servers, computers, printers, phones, mobile devices, and software.

Examples of Work Performed
- Oversees the facility mobile device management systems – JAMF and Intune.
- Manage users, groups, computers, and policies/configuration profiles in Microsoft Admin Centers.
- Providing IT assistance to staff and company employees.
- Assist with new employee onboarding (hardware setup, user accounts, IT training.
- Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
- Deploying new Mac OS and Windows computer setups, remove old equipment and install and upgrade hardware and software applications.
- Be able to harden systems according to the best practices and standards, such as CIS benchmarks, NIST guidelines, etc.
- Resolving equipment failures in a timely manner.
- Be able to perform vulnerability scans and assessments to identify and fix any weaknesses or gaps.
- Troubleshoot and support a diverse set of applications, ranging from M365 suites to advanced audio/video, multimedia, and other production tools.
- Be able to analyze malware samples and determine their origin, purpose, and functionality.
- Be able to use malware analysis to enhance your system's defense and response capabilities.
- Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems through support tickets in a timely manner.
- Be able to follow a formal incident response plan and use the appropriate tools and techniques, such as forensics, evidence collection, analysis, reporting, or remediation, to deal with an incident.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses.
- Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
- Be able to communicate effectively with the stakeholders and document security incident's details and outcomes.
- Manage Multifunction Printer setups and configurations.
- Administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
- Implement and administer network security, evaluate IT network assets, and identify how to protect them.
- Responsible for safeguarding and professional handling of all organizational data.
- Be able to promote and foster a security culture within your organization and provide regular security awareness programs and campaigns.
- Be able to monitor and measure the effectiveness and impact of your security awareness efforts.
- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades, backups and recoveries on a regular basis ensuring security of all systems.
- Document IT infrastructure to current systems and processes and help develop future improvements.
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems.
- Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements.
- Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
- Teach systems classes to users.

The position is an office-based position with regular visits to work sites on campus.
While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; uses hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. On occasion, the colleague may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Position may also require work in confined spaces and exposure to different types of outdoor weather conditions. Risk of electrical shock and/or general hazards found in a construction environment are present.
The colleague must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
