Machine Shop supervisor.
This person would need to be able to setup CNC machines 3 axis through 5 axis. Proveout new programs, instruct and guide other employees running cnc machines. Focus on keeping the machines running – spindles making chips as much as possible.
Understand G code programming, be able to edit programs.
Understand and use Windows Computers to view setup documentation.
Be able to review machines schedules and coordinate with scheduling / planning to ensure jobs are staged.
Must be able to coordinate with Quality department to ensure parts are compliant as well as ensure operators are measuring parts off the machine.
Must be able to troubleshoot issues with parts as well as basic machine issues if machines alarm or have issues.
Coordinate with outside service departments to schedule or fix machines as needed.
Basic knowledge of facilities is also a requirement.
Must be able to manage employees on the floor
